Morrill Motors Redefines Image With New Website and Logo |
ERWIN, TENN. – Morrill Motors ®, a division of Regal Beloit, has revised both its web site www.morrillmotors.com and its logo to reflect the company’s forward-thinking, progressive approach to developing energy-efficient solutions for commercial refrigeration clients. |
“The new logo and web site give a fresh face to the company’s focus on innovative solutions for the commercial refrigeration market,” said Tim Neal, Director of Marketing for Morrill Motors. In early 2008, GE’s commercial refrigeration products were put under the Morrill Motors umbrella. These products set the standard for ECM motors to comply with the California Energy Commission’s Title 20 legislation for walk-in coolers and freezers. The motors include – ARKTIC 59, ICE 59, ARKTIC 142, and ICE 142 – which will bear the Morrill name in the near future. |
This merger melded the best of both companies: Morrill’s dedicated sales force and deep industry roots, and GE’s 20 years of ECM experience and commitment to innovation. By joining complementary products, the new Morrill Motors has strengthened its core competency and heightened its resolve to innovate energy saving solutions for its customers. |
| “The merger of these two businesses is illustrated by the fresh look of our logo and in our new web site, which is both thorough in content and easy to navigate in nature,” said Neal. “Value, customer service, and product quality will always be Morrill’s hallmarks; in addition to these we have focused our resources on our product efficiency, reliability, and innovation.” |

The home page of the new Morrill Motors web site is dominated by the ultimate symbol of chill technology: a majestic iceberg. The site gives users three primary navigation options – Our Company, Our Partners and Our Products – each populated with a complete range of information. The Industry Links option provides the user with a comprehensive list of related web sites, from trade press and trade associations to federal energy-related information. ”

The logo
The new Morrill Motors logo gives the company’s distinctive “butterfly M’s” a modern translation, with a cleaner, more balanced composition and the M’s intertwined to communicate the interrelated strength of the two merging companies. The sans serif type, blue color and circular logo treatment create cohesion between Morrill Motors and its sister company, Genteq.
